I will admit, Beerman does have a ton of very cool stuff.
yes, he does... but i think what bothers most people is how he enjoys flaunting it...
I have a lot of "rare" or well sought after things too, some in duplicate or triplicate... but he is a *tad* obnoxious about showing everyone them at times...

well, that's good to hear that he's a good trader and has helped people out. Like Snape and a few other people are saying, I personally don't know him at all...I've only gotten a general impression of some of his ACTIONS, which I don't agree with, but that has nothing to do with the kind of guy he might be otherwise. And I also agree that his collection is really nice...my comments didn't have anything to do with anger or jealously. I just don't see how it's funny to laud it over people when you have 20 Twin 2's or Walmart Raven Spawns. It doesn't make you special or important, it just makes you seem like an ass.

Please forgive me I am just getting back into collecting and personally i don't have a single spawn figure yet. With running my own tat shop and wife and daughter, I haven't had time or fundage. If beerman has such an awesome collection Great for him! As long as he ain't sleeping with them an stickin em up his butt Who cares! Burke's my neighbor and a great friend, he has an awesome collection I drool over whenever I pop over. So Beerman more power to ya, an if'n ya ever get bored send some my way!

I never said that he wasn't a good guy, i just think he shows off a little to much for peoples taste, and ive seen almost every pic you have posted of your collection on the boards and i never feel that way about you EQ.

It's not what he has, i could care less how big his collection is or how many biker chicks he's got.
What most are saying is that he seems to like to show off how many rare figs he's got, and like you said, who cares how many you got right?
He hooked me up with a WM exclusive Santa Spawn and robot 2pk for good prices and he has bought an CC exclusive from me. Three seperate deals and all went through perfect so he's cool in my book. I can see where people think he's cocky but he seems to just be a fellow collector that is in good fotunes right now. I have asked him to hook me up in some of his posts with multiples but he responded they were already for other people. It is possible that he is buying and trading/selling to people to help them out since he does a lot of trading and he didnt really profit from the sales he made to me. He might not anounce this since it would cause a barrage of requests from people he has never heard from before.

Well any boarder that helps others out is cool, i really don't know him so he was just coming off cocky as you said i geuss.
Oh, a good example is when I lived in Austin my best freind started collecting too. He loved it but the wife hated it so he had to hide them and lie to her about where they came from. He would buy them new and say he got them used and opened for cheap off e-bay, always going in with me on the lots. I would have to hold his stuff at my place for him so she wouldn't know but every once and a while he was allowed to blow some money so he could come get them. Anyway, it was always cool having all those extra figures in the house even if I already had them all. It was almost sad everytime he came to get them since I got used to them. He open them and trash the package when he came for them so I would hang em up sometimes MOC since all mine are loose.
I think this is good that people are backing up beerman and setting the record straight. I take the word of people here seriously and I'm glad I'll be able to view beerman's boasting in a different light. If he has like 10 of some rare figure and 8 or 9 of them are "secretly designated" for trades, then that's really awesome of him. I think anyone who can get their hands on multiple rare figs should definitely be hooking up other collectors. However, if beerman doesn't mention this and simply brags about having all these figs, maybe someone who knows him better should point out the impression he's been giving by acting this way.
